nice response, my opinions were lightning helix and extirpate. ofcourse you can't go wrong with a counterspell either. i just made a glimpse/grindstone

For Isochron Scepter I would go with Lightning Helix, Diabolic Edict,...Counterspell <--(it is really useful), and maybe Boomerang if you really want. For Panoptic Mirror I would get either Walk the Eons, Beacon of Tomorrows, Mystical Tutor, or my personal favorite: Glimpse of the Unthinkable=there deck is toast.

BTW Panoptic Mirror+Beacon of Tomorrows or Walk the Eons= Your Victory: you can't lose because you have infinite turns!
